I wish.

Well, I called HPD today again and checked I'm maybe there was any tow ticket or info, but they pretty much said that they will call me if it surfaces...I really get the feeling they don't even investigate these things.

As for my insurance, they sent me my affidavits to fill out and send to them. Then there is a 14 day waiting period. In the mean time they are going to evaluate and get a quote for the value...

That sucks. The night after we saw you guys at the Lot on Tuesday someone tried to steal my Husky. I left it in the driveway tucked in front of my car like a dumbass but my neighbor chased them off. Glad somebody is up at 4:30 in the morning.

bro that really sucks, sorry to hear the bad news.

Good thing is you have insurance, with full coverage.

Either way, I'm sure it hits close to home. If you need help with anything at all, don't hesitate to give me a call.

This is exactly how I felt when my car was stolen... HPD doesn't do ANY investigating to stolen vehicles... it would take way too much time and resources that they don't have. You're best to scour CL if you really want to find out who took it.

2 weeks waiting is standard, unless they find it (or parts) before then.

Time to get a Honda

Wow.

Just got word from someone that said that 2 bikes were stolen from The Camden apartments around the area where mine got picked up...

Be careful in midtown.
