FML I need one gasket and it won't be in till next week!! I think I'll still install the motor this weekend anyway and wait to fire it up after the gasket install. The gasket I need is the right crankcase so that should take an hour or so then it's on beeches!!

yep the correct set up for a BB kit is the FCR39. If it was a stroker and BB then the fcr41 would be needed.

The stock Mikuni 36 was a joke!!

I wanted to stroke it but didnt want to split the cases and I got a lot of this stuff cheap. The JD kit for the stock Mikuni or Keihn FCR? I'll check to see what I have in the morning...

For the mikuni. I have a red needle from.my old dizzer but really would prefer a blue.

Your comparing apples to watermelons man....that 450 u got is about 100lbs lighter and way more powerful than mine....I think I'd still kick your

The beast should be rumbling this evening hopefully. Just waiting on a gasket.... Pretty much installed the motor, radiators and carb last night.
