When Biaggi is on he's ON though. That 2nd race from the first round coming from last to 2nd was amazing.

No kawi contenders in ama and no kawis in moto gp...its nice to have someone on a kawi in contension. Its been a bad 5 or 6 yrs. Looks like the new bike has finally lived up to the hype. I hope Tom and Juan can keep the momentum all yr.

Here's the caption for that video:

Quote:
Every wondered just how much faster a World class professional motorcycle racer is than the average Joe? How about how much faster than a reasonably accomplished track day level rider or a journalist? Sure we can talk about seconds but a picture or even better a video tells the story so much better. So, how much faster? Check the video after the jump.
Tor Sagen of Raptors and Rockets was on hand at Imola for the launch of the Ducati 848EVO along with none other than Althea Ducati star Carlos Checa. I don’t know how fast Sagen is but even being conservative he is likely faster than most road riders simply by virtue of the track time he puts in over the course of his testing duties. Watch the on board camera shot as Sagen (admittedly on a warm-up lap) has Checa come by into the Acqua Minerale.

Yeah. Checa was GONE. Hard to believe he was on the same bike.
