I could do it for a 6 pack but can only with regular steel.

i take it you can do some clean tig welds? if it's outta regular steel, i'd have to powdercoat it to keep it from rusting - which i can handle in my garage. lemme know... i ran off half-cocked and bought the filter before i had the connecting pipe problem figured out.

If Jeremy can't I'm certain American Heli-arc can make you one out of aluminum.

I'm not a pro, but after I get the amps and wire feed dialed in I can make a decent weld.

It's a mig, not a tig. If I had a tig I could do Al or stainless steel.

Your in tomball though and thats a bit of a drive.

If you can't find anyone here that is close, find any metal fab place around you and just go offer the guy working $10 or $20 bucks and I bet he will do it for you on the spot for the cash.

urban (jeremy i guess?), thanks man! yea, tomball is a GOOD drive... so i'll keep your offer in my pocket for a while.

and patrick, after a little more thought i think aluminum might not be the best solution, but thanks for the tip about the aluminum welding guy. :fact i'm sure to break an aluminum something that needs to be welded sometime in the future. haha

i actually just got a phone call from a buddy that saw the thread and is going to fab it up for me... stay tuned.

MH - y'all alright.
