I try to work up a relationship with a local dealer that I like. You'd be amazed how well you'd be treated and how willing they are to work with you after you done bought a couple of bikes from them.

Price is important. In the end though, go with whichever dealer you feel comfortable working with.

Just tossing this out there, do you have to have a kawasaki?

Suzuki is offering 1000 off msrp and 0% financing for up to 5 yrs on most 2011 models until 3-31

Yeah I saw that at stubbs 59 when I changed my rear tire and brakes last week. I currently have a Suzuki Gsxr 750 and thought I would give Kawasaki a shot. I love my Gsxr and will miss it if/when I do sell it but I have read some good things about the zx10r that make me want it. If I don't get the deal I want from kawi I might try Suzuki or just hold onto my cash and wait it out.

The TC and available ABS option is really hard to beat. With power mode only, Suzuki is falling behind in the arms race. Honda doesn't even have any electronics aide. Might seem a bit frivolous to some, but I figure if TC/ABS keeps me from taking a dive just one time - it is already worth the little extra dole.

Albert at Mainland Cycle said $10,754 for a 2010 zx10r black non-abs with 0mi, I think i might pull the trigger. $10,754 - 6,000 down = 4754 at 3.99% for 3 years. I'm looking at $132mo which is not bad at all.
