Noooooooooooooo!!

. Just bought a new bike, after selling the F4i a few years back. Getting the Ninja 650r in Passion Red. Now I want my helmet back that I sold with the old bike! Was a Scorpion EXO 700 Burst in red/black. Can't find that thing anywhere now!

lol Well, I loved that helmet. Sucks it's discontinued, and can't find it anywhere. Now I have to hunt again. *grumble* Sizing is the biggest pain. Would be easier if I was in Houston. Working 7 days a week though, and being 2.5 hours away from Houston, makes it a pain to get down there to try stuff on and find out what fits. At least I know what size Sidi boots I need if I get another pair.

Loved that helmet. Driving me crazy that I can't find one in my size. There's an XL and XXL on eBay. the luck!

Oh I know. I just really liked the design of the Burst. Both bikes I've owned were red and black. My dumb should have just kept it up in the closet... (along with the Sidi boots, leathers, etc.) lol

Live and learn. Shoulda known I'd come back to another bike one day!

that sucks, I would just get something better. Always room for an upgrade and If you liked that helmet, have you tried on the exo-1000?

I have the same lid (EXO 700) in size XL for sale, would let it go for cheap. Color code: engine

Unfortunately, I need a large. Really wanting to go red/black. I've got a Fulmer hopefully coming in tomorrow so I can go pick up the bike, but I want to get something better. I did really like the fit of the Scorpion. Are there any other good helmet brands that won't break the bank? Under $300 is really what I'm looking for. Are the SS brand stuff any good?

Sparx is cheap, and I love mine (cheap, light, flows well).... except the fabric is flaking :(
I only know one other person who wears one, and his is not. Can't decide if I want to try a 2nd one or not.

Other than that, I've only used a carbon HJC FS15 (available much cheaper in non-carbon).
All three have fit similarly, with the exception of the sparx didn't need cheek pads one size smaller for me.

I would just stick with Scorpion for now, unless you can find a nice Shoei or Arai lid for the same cost, used.

Also, you can check out what others have to say about Scorpion here

Some good info here as well,

Hope you find the lid that you want

Right on. Bought a Fulmer to get by for now, and not very pleased with it. Hopefully I won't have to use it very long. I loved the fit of the Scorpion I had. I'll probably go with another model, but I'll stay on the lookout for my Burst.

I've been googling it. I've found a few sites that claim they have it in stock in my size. Both places I called today, one was no answer at all, the other was a recording that kept shooting me back and forth to two different departments and never an answer or a way to leave a voicemail. Too sketchy for me to send my cc# info to. I'm still looking though.
