I often think this, some people on these forums act like they are big and cool, wonder how they ride when a bunch of people get together. Do they try and show off, do they speed all over the place on a group ride?

Somebody said something about having a good reason to lane split.

I had a job as a medicine delivery guy for a while and had to drive this route nearly every day for a year or so.

Also, lane splitting isn't as dangerous as you may think.

I would rather be moving through the traffic than be squished by it, imo.

So that makes, what? 3 or 4 other lane splitters? At least on this forum, I suppose.

Considering the millions of people in Houston and the Houston area, I'd say it's no wonder why we never see each other.

Anyway, I do ride well in groups and I don't do anything I think is too risky and very very rarely climb above the speed limit.

I wouldn't recommend lane-splitting for everybody. It takes a lot of confidence and you gotta be on your game.

Ride Safe!!!

And a lot of luck as someone could change lanes at the same moment you're right beside them.

No. I don't ride 610 at all. I don't do anything that will put my life is excess amounts of danger. I have two kids that expect me to come home, and even though I have life insurance, I still try to stay alive.

I guess I'm just boring and insecure.

Nope....Doesn't make much sense to me. I like myself and I like my bikes. I like to do things that I have control of that are dangerous. You have no control of the thrill when you do that. Too many idiots out there.

Have Fun!
