Stock 929/954 forks suck. They are way too soft.

Should get springs while you are at it and lots of fork seals.

929/954 forks are great compared to the suzuki and kawasaki forks.

I rebuilt mine this past weekend.

New fork seals.
.95 Raceteck springs,
Raceteck Gold Valve Kit.

They are now much better then they were stock.

From what i can remember its best to get everything at once. cause im sure you'll need the forks, triple tree, brakes, and i think even the front wheel. They use a different bearing in the triple tree so that is definetly a must have to do the swap.

Actually I have a 954 front end setup in my garage, just need to put it on haha. If you want my stock f4i stuff, we can work something out. I think my triples are bent though. Everything else on my stock front end is nice.

But ya, if you go with 929/54 front, you need everything including rim, rotor, blah blah

Really? How much do you want for the pair and how badly are they bent? I could use some of the parts during my next tare down.
