Great question; if you tie your skirt up out the way with bobby pins and rubber bands while on the bike, you can then use those to help tame that wild, fabulous hair when off the bike.

(read with a lisp if possible).

I solved this by moving on to a more suitable form of two wheeled transportation. A TMAX scooter. Now I have plenty of storage room for all my goods. Plus I have a really neat set of rainbow tassles, an MX helmet, and a very sexy set of leather chaps to compliment my sweet new ride.

Feel free to PM me about generally being badass on a scooter, riding two abreast at all times, or any real estate questions.

I use a head liner. get my hair done to the back, liner on, and then helmet... if you put gel at work all that goes on the helmet and then gets dirty, so after a couple of days all that is back on your hair.
I protect my helmet as much as I can, they don't come by cheap

I throw my hat in my jacket before I zip it up. It' doesn't make a difference tho, since I used #2 on the trimmers, to cut my hair lol

At the idea of you bringing sexuality into this. With the barbaric women you probably hang around, your hair is surely the last thing you worry about.

Well you're right - what with trying to keep my from dragging behind me, I don't worry much about the hair.

The best solution to your daily problem: wax. You CAN style your hair before and then when you ride to work, re-styling would be simple and a quick 10-15 secs.
Non gel-ed hair is the easiest and best looking style there is.

Real men don't use hair gel. Splashing & brushing a little warm water over hair kept short easily gets rid of the corn rows.

No one at your work gets to give you about that. If they try to, we'll get 'em...

I comb out my hair after getting to work, and some days throw it into a ponytail. It's "good 'nuff". Then again, I also wear jeans and a fitted T most days, so I'm not exactly expected to look classy.

haha that's so true. No one here cares which is cool! I'm glad we don't have to actually meet people in person just talk to them on the phone lol.

I'm not obese (which is weird considering I'm I am an American), nor did my pappy beat the out of me with a ugly stick every day growing up, so I do actually care a bit how I look in public and to my girl, since I'm otherwise salvageable.

I have long hair, it's not hard to deal with. Just wear a buff or some other type of lightweight head cover and keep a comb or brush in a backpack or pannier to clean up after you get to your destination. Also don't commute with wet hair, greasy hair or gelled hair. Your sweat will wet it give you permanent helmet hair for the rest of the day.
