I've had it with cagers at 4 way stops, they just sit there

It seems no matter what I do, or how late I get to the intersection (a 4 way stop) the cager going any other way just sits there like a deer in headlights.

If i'm in the cage, this is no problem. The guy that gets to the stop sign first gets to go first or if both people get there at the same time you yeild to the right or someone flashes to let the other guy go first.

All this goes out the window when I'm on the moto. The guy going the other way is already stoped. I am coming to a stop and far away form the intersection. Eventually I come to a complete stop and put my left leg down to wait. Guy just sits there

It happens over and over year after year.

What do you do? Only thing I know to do is point and wave cagers on as if I'm directing traffic...

I'll delay a bit, to see if they go (as in, maybe they were waiting to see if I was gonna roll it)... then I go, quickly.

People not taking the right of way is annoying as .

I wait for them to go in turn, and if they don't, I do.

I don't let silly like that bug me. They also cant manage tangential turns, but then again, I live in chinatown, so I'm kinda used to stupid driver tricks...

I usually wave them on. They think we are crazy for being on two wheels in Houston. I think they are just being cautious, which is good. Wish people would stop texting, but that is a whole other subject.

Oh I feel bad for you. We take our kids to Chinese class every Sat. and I dread the traffic around Bellaire. On weekends, that whole place is a mess. People piling six deep on the center divider waiting to left turn into shopping plazas...

My train of thought is that even if i am last to the intersection but have come to a complete stop, if you haven't gone then you have your thumb up your , so I'll go first.

I know that feeling bro but I would much rather have someone wait at the 4-way stop than to just dis-regard it in whole.

I used to work in the westchase district right next to C-town. Weekday traffic aren't so bad, other than rush hours. Lots of great places to go for lunch.

Life's too short to sweat the little stuff! Be thankful they stop at all. I said before, I had a guy run a redlight and cut me off in a turn....had the nerve to shoot the bird at me as he was doing it!

If they don't move, just smile and take the right of way! Life 's too short to get upset about it!

I find it to be a problem no matter what I'm driving. I hate it too. Vehicle makes it to the stop sign while I'm still a good 50 yards away, yet....like you said, they sit their like a deer in headlights. It's very aggravating.
