650r to cbr600

im thinkin about trading in my bike in order to get a cbr600rr..how big of a jump is this?is there anything that i should be worried about...i have ridden my dads r6s and im not sure of the difference..the reason for gettin something bigger is to have more of a street feel and they looks better.plus the handleing is a different
