Houston newbie wanting to organize a " to the wall" ride through the forest...sounds like a great idea!

I don't think a Radar detector is going to be that much help for such a ride just not that much forward ranch at speeds you are likly considering, and with all the turns.
Though it won't hurt if it doesn't lead to some sort of panic slow down
You might want to condisider a scouting party run through, they could call you back from drifters.

Yep. Plus, it hasn't been the cops that have been the problem on 99% of the rides I've been on. It's been people crashing.
