2007 FLATTRACK SCHEDULE!!!

The www.houstonhotshoe.com series has finalized the 2007 racing schedule. Three of the seven events will be $1000 added purse money for the open-pros. That's $500 guaranteed to win! From the bike count at yesterday's playday it's going to be a huge season. Make plans now to attend one (or all) of our events, you simply can not find better 2-wheel entertainment locally! Handlebar to handlebar, backin it in style!

Visit our website above and make plans to attend. It's too cool to miss.

P.S. Anyone insterested in racing, e-mail me ate1@yahoo.com I have lines on complete bikes, parts suppliers and the willingness and know-how to get you on the track. Where can you race for $30 and a set of tires lasts you all season?

Shrimp is AMAZING! He was out there yesterday on his new Rotax:600++

You guys have got to see this kid before he moves on and your next chance is only in CycleNews or on Speed. He's already expressed an interest in pavement. He's honing his skills in the dirt first just like the current MOTOGP Champion did!

Yessir! It's a big, air-cooled 4-stk single that just BOOMS. It's beyond 'thumper'. The piston's about the size of a salad plate!

Is that possibly the rotax motor out of the very rare ATK supermoto bikes? If so, i cannot imagine how shrimp is "manhandling" that beast. It seems the the ATK's are alive and well with the bugs all worked out overseas. If he's running one of those motors, they're really onto something. Most of this people on these boards probably know very little about the Rotax motors, let alone the ATK's.

The Rotaxes in the new ATK's are the liquid cooled ones that Rotax built for the now-defunct Cannondale. The one Shrimp is riding is at least a 15y.o. design and still very competitive (even when run in 450cc configs) against the modern 450's. The main US supplier for all-things Rotax is Ron Wood racing in CA. He builds the sweetest flat-trackers around... check his site:
