I'd be inclined to believe the click2 article... Head injury is documented in both. Obviously that would be more likely w/o a helmet.

It's up to the driver to make sure the passenger wears a helmet. The driver should know more about the risks of not wearing one than the passenger.

Maybe this guy wasn't used to the extra weight and pulled it up on accident. Who knows.
