Just going to throw this out there, but you all do realize there are times the missus wants a bike gone, so you place an advert with a high price so it won't sell.

Just sayin...

I gotta say.... Your bike is nice & IMO fairly priced! It's not what I'm "looking for" but I AM considering it.... . What I want or not, it would prolly be a better bike for me... Now...

That's when you grow a pair and tell the missus it isn't going anywhere.

I mean, really, if it means that much to you and she cares so little - her.

Agreed! But back when the SV was brand new I think that the price was between 8 and 9k...

. I got a great deal at $2k.

I think I'll put mine up for about $5k if I ever try to sell it - now that it's all custom and stuff.

I don't know... You know SV's are worth WAY more than any old stupid, stolen VMAX.

Especially since I put 40k+ miles on it.

I'll ride it until it dies.

Well since we were talking about a guy who's wife was telling him to sell the bike, i addressed it in that manner.

A spouse should care what makes the other one happy and if they dont, and would want the other person to stop doing something they enjoy "or else", then honestly, that person doesn't seem to care very much about their partner.

For example, if Squoddy's hostage told her to sell it or else, I'd be the first to say she should get a new hostage
