Leo - yeah she hit the Escort. Like I said before, nobody has love for the Escort!!!!
Pricey wheels? Expedition? Ran?

Hm...pretty sure on the race of the , and it was lack of insurance, warrants, drugs in the car, or all three.

I believe the Texas plates now have 3 Letters & 4 Numbers, so

The plate could be

6J3-7718 - But that would have 5 Numbers, and you have mentioned already that this is wrong.

Looks like it may be CJ3-771B?

So 7 digits... 36 possible characters... repeatable characters allowed...

so thas 36^7 = 78,364,164,096 possible combinations... happy hunting...

Or maybe... she was using plates from a different vehicle to provide legitimate looking driving experience. She crashed... no license, no insurance, no plates... and simply swapped the plates back...

This is true. With regards to making a *criminal* case stick. BUT - The caveat is that her insurance will still be responsible for the damage, or if she is uninsured, SHE will be personally responsible, so all is not lost. It's still worth it to pursue the case.

Again, with a vehicle description (blue or black Ford SUV in the picture) and a partial plate # the police can track this person down. the camera's on the tollway can do it. Why are you asking us?

Makes me want to write down the VIN number if I ever had to deal with this.

HPD called me and asked if I wanted to press charges. Going down to the PD tomorrow to pick her out of a lineup.

Note: Had the damage been under $1K then HPD would not have followed up on the case. Regardless if it were H&R.
