Sticking to the topic... I say 636. Parts are plenty. In case you go down. I'll buy your 250 if they total it and make a killer track bike out of it...... sawzall ready.

well we are of topic here a bit... but from what i am hearing you guys say... he did NOT cause a wreck .... someone else not paying attention, not riding within their abilities CAUSED their own wreck... and if he had caused he wreck he should have been pulled and his day should have been over...mulitple folks who do not know what they are doing complaining about the same thing does not make it so... and as I said, i did not see it. I am only going by how y'all are describing it...from your words he did NOT brake check anybody... somebody else was riding over his head in a level where that is not safe and in fact not acceptable...from the launch all the way to the back straight there is no passing in level 1 so he should not have been up on his from the launch in...

im sure the 675 is a great bike but i love my 636. You will love either bike. Although i would think maintenence might be more exspensive on the 675? I always vote Kawi.

kawi's are definitely a love/hate relationship type of bike...i would expect the 636 to be cheaper, but both are sexy bikes.

When you ride 100% or above your head you can't learn as well cause your to busy trying to stay up and being on the edge.

Like someone said earlier in the thread the trackday isn't a race!
Yeah I want to track so I can learn more. I've been riding for quite a while and I'm sure I've barely scratched the surface.

I'm getting a new "everyday" bike next Wednesday and I'm thinking of getting rid of the Triumph for something a bit smaller for track days. But for at least a few weeks I'll have 2 bikes sitting in the garage, and thats never a bad thing!

Nice, redirect the question so you don't look like a moron.

Whoops, too late. No problem though, just throw in some more roffle smilies.
