I just got it and haven't even taken it out of the garage, ha ha. It is the 8mm bolt that is towards the back of the fairing. No Honda for me, I love my Zuki's

are the threads stripped or the bolt head?

i actually never remove my radiator shrouds from the tank. I actually always lift the tank with the shrouds still connected.

The only this that happens when I try to take the bolt out is it spins. So the threads are messed up, or maybe the "nut" that is on the tank might be messed up.

Does the bolt connect the plastic shroud to the radiator? Or does it connect the shroud to the gas tank?

I probably just wouldn't worry about it to be honest. It won't stop you from removing the tank or any other part if needed. May be worth more hassle than it's worth.

that's why I don't mess with them. You will eventually need to replace plastic though.

I'm not sure your options either. I know on my RMZ 250 the nut is secured into the tank. If that is damaged, I suppose a used tank is the next best option.

Yea, I'm gonna finish checking the valves and cams then see what I can do. Thanks all.
