Sad indeed and foolish
RIP

Regardng the MPH vs KPH
I go with KPH
Reason: Count the white line dashes best you can versus the time or estimaed second
I get about 3+ per second based on 10 ft lines on 30 ft gaps
=120 ft/ second = 82 mph = 136 kph

Just a thought to each their own

fastest ive ever been was ~150ish cause she was bouncing off the rev limiter. that definitely did not look like 150ish, let alone 160.

First of all, am I the only one that sees no brake lights?
LED's flash on cameras so you can't count on that, you have to look at the 3rd brake light and I don't see it (except on a truck about 10 secs before impact).
My guess is he followed the leader and miscalculated the semi.
As far as mph vs kmh, I think it is re geared not corrected mph and also the lawyer may have sped up the video by x1.2 say. The speed differentials between bikes (not so much with the cars) look dramatic at times especially for tripple digit numbers.
