Yes you may find cheaper online, but you may also make a mistake, or get a bad part and end up with the rubber side up.. Basic maintenance parts aren't expensive anyway, get it done right.

I have an 06 gsxr 1k,

For front and rear brakes pads I use EBC,
Front pads - EBC Double-H Sintered Brake Pads
Rear pads - EBC Organic

The rear pad is different from the front, the initial bite of the brake pad is greater in the front than the rear - less prone to locking your rear wheel when in use. Still currently on the OEM rotors, looking to get some stainless steel braided brake lines - not sure what brand to go with, Galfer, Goodridge, Spiegler etc.

Currently I'm on stock chain and sprockets, getting ready to order those as well - Again, not sure what brands to go with. I've reviewed RK, EK, and DID chains so far and I like the DID chain the best. For sprockets, I've seen Vortex, Driven, AFAM.

Spark Plugs

GSXR Service manual states there are 3 types of spark plugs for the 2006 GSXR 1000 engine.

NGK CR8E for hot
NGK CR9E for standard
NGK CR10E for cold.

I went with the NGK CR9EIX Iridium, for about 8-10$ ea - They have held up fine, and bike works great with em.

Just about everything I mentioned up above can be purchased thru one of our Sponsor on here,

Patrick and his team at Motorcycles Unlimited will definitely take care of you

Also the fellas over at 2 Wheels Toyz are just as helpful, pick either of these and your in good hands for sure.

Glad to hear that your concerned about the maintenance of your bike, always best to take car of that before a mod or upgrade. Best of luck to you
