2 wheeled low-rider ? hmm... never thought about it like that....I just always thought it was stupid... but then again, I guess I always felt the same way about low-riders too...and it would be stupid too, for me... since I do not like them...

Can you guys answer this: if motorcycles have been being developed for over half a century now, why isn't a single supersport stretched and lowered at the factory? Does it really help performance?

As long as you are going in a strait line, it helps out a ton keeping the front end down at the expense of cornering. There is a very limited market for a drag only bike, so no one has put out a dropped and lowered bike yet.

Example of a purpose built stretched 600

"9.721 @ 139.37mph, 4 inches under the bike to the road,+8 on the rear. 3.18 ratio. Perfect on the ZX6 for 1/4 mile. Gives the chain a nice arc as well. -1 front +5 rear is close as well. 3.2 ratio. The 3.18 just gives you that tiny bit more up your sleeve in top gear at the finish line if you need it. Thats with a 170/60 profile tire by the way.
The front is just slid through the triple clamps and then strapped which is pretty much the normal set up of most. I run a 60 series tyre on the front and made some brackets up to lower the front guard down 12mm from where it was closer to the tyre. Gives me the clearance then.
You need to make a bracket up to offset your steering damper then if you are going to use the original set up as I have done or go to another style as it will hit the forks when you turn. "

The answer would be NO!!!! You loss lean angle. You loss traction. I rode my buddies Gixxer 600 that was stretched with a 240 rear tire. I could break that tire loss with no problem and riding in the rain, NEVER do that again.

Do they come with flush mounts or fender eliminators? Yes, depending on your riding style, it can help performance.
