Wow thats pretty cheap. I'll have to get a set. I'm always tucking my legs in because I dont want to mess up my knees so they would be a good safeguard in case I roll my knee out.

1. What is an "ICE card"?

2. Boots: can they simply be leather boots that cover ankles, such as Doc Martins, or do they need to be braced riding boots?

I have a pair of fox knee guards that are quite sturdy someone can borrow if needed. Try to buy a pair first they can be found pretty cheap. Ask our sponsors.

They fit longer legs though, I'm 5'10, so if you're a shorty, they may be too long.
