Talking Dirtay Graduation Partay - May 12-13, 2012

FWIW - Dirtay is so named because of the dirt toys that you should bring to ride the trails on the 200 acres of FEMA land in my neighborhood.

I will be graduating with a BS in Environmental Chemistry/minor in Geology at 10 am at Minute Maid Park. After the commencement, I would like to invite everybody to my home for celebration - about NOON! It only took me 20 years to get here! =D

The BBQ will be very family friendly until about 8pm.

We will have:
Swimming
Dirt bike riding (please bring your own)
Fiddy Soccer (BYO)
Four-wheeling (BYO)
Fun and games for everybody
Food for everybody (please bring your favorite side dish, dessert, or meat to grill)
**Alcohol will be served to those over 21 (BYO favorites, though)

If you would like to stay the night, then bring a camper/tent/sleeping bag, as there probably won't be enough room in the house for everybody. You can also sleep in your vehicle (probably safest, if you've passed out here before ). If you're bringing children, I would ask that you please not stay the night, as adult funz may be inappropriate for them - actually it will DEFINITELY BE INAPPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN!

If you have any questions - please don't hesitate to ask.

Dirtay partays in the past have been huge events with over 100 people. I expect this event to be no different. It will more than likely go well into Sunday, as is usual. It has been our experience that you should ask for Monday off, as well as the weekend.

PM for address. If I do not know you then don't be butthurt if I ask for a reference in the form of another member. The last time we had a huge party, things were stolen and that's no fun for anybody.

Wow you plan way farther ahead than most. Just realized this isn't next month but two months away. I guess you'll get a big turnout with such advance notice. I'll bring extra boots this time to keep the mud out of the house. Took me 10 minutes of cleaning to get the couch and floor halfway respectable before I left.

Good luck on the diploma! Now time to start earning the big bucks! yeah
