I know it's not a big inline four, but the new VFR1200 is kinda like the old blackbird. Big, fast, and comfy.

Prolly not. VFR1200 is Honda's answer to BMW K1300S/1200S. Too bad it's a question nobody is asking these days. Apparently there aren't enough folks - like me - that like a big shaftie sportbike.

The closest Honda to the old Hurricane/Blackbird is the CBR1000 naked bike. If it does well here, Honda might consider a faired version. But I doubt it.

Economy is too unstable for them to risk a "new" line. Same reason the CBR1000RR hasn't seen a major revamp. Much like most other manufacturers. Kawasaki went out on a limb with the new 10R and made a great bike.
