Where to find used mc parts?

I'm currently trying to transform my '06 GSX-R600 into a (budget) streetfighter. Does anyone have any experience with some local shops/yards that has a good selection of used parts? At the moment, I'm specifically looking for a 7" round headlight bucket that I can mount to my forks.

There is a moto salvage yard on Spencer by the beltway. Can't remember the name

personally i would get on a gixxer forum and look for people parting bikes. You going to spend probably twice as much at a local used parts place, for ex. i got a fuel pump for 40 bux shipped from someone online, and sams cycle salvage quoted me 175

I read some bad reviews about Sam's online, which is what prompted this thread. The headlight bucket I want ASAP, but everything else, I might look for online.

If you can't find any cheap 7" lights, I can try to find the site where I bought my V-rod headlight on my street fighter for $120 new.

If you're looking for a 7" round headlight check out Delkevic

They're a direct swap for the sv650 headlight which mounts to your forks so you'd just have to find some fork brackets for it.

Awesome, thanks for the replies.

I ordered the headlight on ebay... just came in today. I found a bucket for it at Houston Cycle Salvage earlier today (thanks for the link Andros ). Now I just need mounts for the forks, but I think I might just try to make some.
