Slicks and a tire groover. Doesn't get any better than that, or more specific since you can cut them to your own specs.

Best bang for the buck. Continentals or Shinkos. I got contis on my ktm 450sm here at my shop. And shinkos on the rack. I think they are sold though. But can get easy.
