while I'm riding, most vehicles in front of me just move over and give me room, even in heavy traffic, I guess in anticipation of me passing/splitting or just as a courtesy

though I have had those sort of individuals who try to block me, but that never had any real effect.

It used to be OK, in Texas, to split traffic, but many "new" riders I see, don't do it safely or respectfully, I find most drivers take extra care for motorcyclist.

IMO, Police too give an extra allowance for bikers, IF you ride properly.

and I have NEVER ever retaliated against an aggressive/dangerous driver, the risk is just too great, its better to "disappear"

(you might be watching this soon.) -- i only mention this because i gather you might ignore the closeness rule also.

Blocking a motorcycle never works. - sure it does. here is a video showing how it worked. (if you don't think this could happen in Houston, you must be "special")

as for the freeway closure statement, that does not make it legal. you have to be very careful during that time and just follow the police's flow. exiting on entrance ramps is very dangerous.

too many people have a "me me me me" personality. driving is a community event. you must be wary of others more than yourself.
Cool story bro, In the meantime I'll just keep doing this.

See you on the other side.

See you on the other side.

I do the same bro. Beats sitting in traffic. And I go to the front of the line at a red. I am usually the first one off the line anyway.

urban - i hear you . me neither.

but when an idiot snitches on themselves by a video and bragging about it... i mean, how low of an IQ will get you out of that? Will the judge even care if they are mentally slow??

XT - looks like you were in that SUV's blind spot. ps - how fast is that bike going? 0-60 in 10 seconds? if you would have gotten in front of me, i would have been upset! :-P

Oh come on, dude. I didn't even go above the speed limit.

0-60 in 5 seconds and yeah, I'm a safe rider/driver.

Doesn't matter if I was in their blind spot, because they broke the law, bro.

Tell me more. You are obsessed with me. I bet you got all excited when I posted after my few month hiatus. And apparently you still get excited every time I post. I apologize if I make your panties moist.

how did they break the law? looks like they corrected and got back into their lane. i am super confused on your logic on this entire post...

when two lanes merge into one, right right lane has the right of way (your side)

i bet you are the type of guy who gets naked at the airport.

"xtv", IMO the best action, would have been to move over to the right lane and relieve the pressure of the merging traffic, you had just moved over to the left as traffic is obviously exiting, thus somewhat constricted the flow of traffic and kind of creating a dangerous situation for yourself.

at least that's how I like to ride, I always look for my presence on the road to aid in the flow of traffic rather than restrict or congest.

Why do you keep linking the video of you breaking traffic laws? Do you WANT to get in trouble with the cops?

Actually, two lanes did not merge here. She changed lanes without signaling.

Artist, I just wanted the footage. It was a new camera at the time.
I knew exactly what was going to happen.

Jin, I must confess, that video is not of me.

Just looked like she was splitting lanes to me. I don't see an issue.

You're technically supposed to yield to any vehicle coming off a highway onto the feeder. Just sayin

I need to start putting my gopro on everytime I get out, never know what you'll record.

All in all, we're just road users going about our business. I could really care less what you do or anybody else.

Only if lanes are merging. Fools can't just cut across 4 lanes of feeder.
