Very True..

So far majority has been with the RR & R6.

No Ninja lovers here?

I think the Ninja really got its grip from 05 on wards..

but then again this is an only 2003 year.

Can I ask why you are set on an 03? If you go w/ an R6, you might as well get one a few years older. They were relatively unchanged for several years. You might be able to go cheaper and have some extra cash for goodies.

The Reason i said 03 and up was coz that year resulted in many changes in many of the manufacturs..such as the R6. The CBR600rr came up with the nice tribal and black on black colors. I think even the GSXR had a face lift (correct me if i'm wrong though).

I can usually find deals of 03 and up R6s for the price of 99-02 R6s. That's why i said 03 and up, coz i know the prices i'd be willing to pay

So i'll get that (if i do) and will still have money for the extra stuff like track days.

I think every bike is sexy in its own way - but as far as the RC51 goes - i just don't dig the the way it has dual exhaust. It does'nt look sporty enough to me or sharp enough. It's sweet in its own way and generation.

But Dual Exhausts sadly are not the "in" thing in today's modern sport bike. Now its all about the underseat exhaust CBRs and R1s. and 'barely there' motogp type style exhaust GSXRs.

What's wrong with you & Patty?

I said the new in is "Undertail Exhausts" and "MotoGP" Exhausts.

All the bike you guys mention up there are first of all way over $5k. Patty the one you post is above $12k for that matter (used!).

And besides they are all considered undertail dual exhaust! Yes, including your VFR800 Sport Touring Bike! Its a "sexy" undertail dual exhaust.

But the RC51 is not a undertail Dual Exhaust - its just Dual Exhaust on the sides, like the Ninja 250 or 500. Which i just dont dig - nor does the other 5 million sport bike crowd out there - that's why you have all the manufactur'Ride Smart top bikes have either undertail or motogp.

Please reread my post before 'nicely' rubbing it in

Dude, I was just bustin your . Truth is that if I had an R6, 600RR, 6R or GSXR600 I would most likely destroy my best time at TWS (Texas World Speedway). I would have a 600 in my garage next to my RC51 if I had the extra cash.

PS- There's some sweet untertail exahausts out there for the RC51 if you have the scratch (which I don't either)...

That undertail exhaust makes the RC wicked. I've always loved an RC51. I even debated on getting one myself. But my GSXR1K was just too much fun.
