I'd go for the 600rr. Black red or any color I could find one in. I rode the out of one and it was a blast. The brakes are better than the rest of the bikes you mentioned.

Coming from you..i'll make note of that..

what do you mean by brakes though?

Would the stock R6 brakes with Kevlar or Steel lines not be enough stopping power for the street?

I probably don't ride half the way as you did on SMRs Brian :notworthy

Honda brakes are just that much better than everyone out there. For some reason they work way better. I haven't figured out the secret. I put some 929rr calipers on my GSXR1K. It helped a lot but they still weren't nearly as good as a stock Honda setup. The Aprillia RSVR that Tom has at his house has some kick brakes as well but for 25K I guess it better have some good brakes. Its all Brembo baby.

I have a soft spot for R6's. First bike I saw and really wanted! Made me finally get the desire to do MSF and license.

Moe, again, R6 again. You still owe me a ride. :icon_bigg

Practicality says that the 600rr is the best bang for the buck. Andy at Metric Cycles was asking if I knew anyone that wanted to buy Yulia's '03 600rr which is black on black on black. Hit him up and see what he's asking, the suspension is all kinda tricked out!
I spoke to Andy. He's not what you would call a 'motivated seller'.

Say's the wife loves the bike too much..

And i'd hate to get him in trouble..:laughing6

Gimme a call when you have time Tom, i tried calling you but no signal in your area.

My $.02...

Take your time looking at all the pics and looknig at bikes in person. Walk around them, sit on them, and get a 'feel' for them. One (or more) of them will speak to you more than the others. The lines will catch your eye, the flow of the bike will look 'just right', or some will just turn you off completely for some odd reason or another.

Sexy/pretty is all relative. I always thought my bike was ugly, but it grew on me. Now I don't care what it looks like because it is my trusted steed.

And that's the second point (which has already been made but it bears repeating) - as long as you are happy riding it, does it matter what it looks like or what other people think?

I may be slightly baised but i would go for the Yamaha R6 Blue and White. I do like the CBR 600RR but slightly harder to find for the money you want to spend!
