Lightbulb southern engineering a 16gram nitrous system

I know this would prolly be a horrible idea, and as you can see I know almost nothing about how a Nitrous system works...however what would happen if I got one of these

31cCYJ2Bk09L SL500 AA300

and got some of these 16 gram whip cream nitrous cartridges

http://whipcream-chargers.com/index....=index&cPath=4

I could in my infinite wisdom run the tube to my air box, and deliver a 16 gram shot of nitrous with the pull of the trigger.

So, lets say I did it. What should I expect if I inject 16 grams of nitrous to the air box of a moto with a wide oepn throttle? Say at 60 mph....

yes, I know it is a horribly stupid idea

I'd really like to try it on my lawn mower at least...something extra to power through that tall grass

feedback/thoughts?

I can shift with out using the clutch

or lets pretend I hit 6th gear and use my left hand to trigger the gallow gun (go right from the clutch to the trigger)

again, I have no experience with N2O, but 16 grams should be a few cubic feet at standard tempreture/pressure and it comes out fast.

I have the gun to blow out the primary drain line in my home AC...you can get them form transtar ac supply on 45 for about 20 or $30...

i don't want to blow up my 50 motor but I would try it getting progressively closer to the intake to see what happens.

How exactly do you plan to add the extra fuel that will be required to make the extra hp? Nitrous works in part due to the added O. The added O allows for more fuel to be burned. You will only burn the electrode off of the plug or melt a piston

Oh and WOT is WOT the motor wont spin any faster. It will help you reach WOT quicker but will not extend the rev limiter. No more Fast and Furious for you.

He needs to rig a full wet system to supply the added fuel and prevent a lean condition. Nitrous alone wont add . You have to add the fuel

true... mine already runs a little lean i think but i think it's due to the carb being for a 50 and not an 88. I need the 70cc carb.
