obviously, in his eyes you did provoke him... He, like many drivers have the mentality that the road belongs to him and that he should be able act however he wants on the road.

and i'd constitute a cager using 4000# weapon at me as that...
ps. don't ever swerve at me cause you wouldn't be the first i've lit up.
you don't read too well do you? go back and realistically think about what I posted. there is no way if the 2 seconds a car is coming at you that you can take evasive action and pull your pistol out. by the time you recover from the event, the danger has passed and you cannot LEGALLY shoot. let me repeat that since it seems to be a issue. LEGALLY.

now just cause you have claimed to have shot at others on the road does not make it legal.

Of course he was provoked. After the incident happened I doubt if you conveyed the following to him in a civil manner.
"...I told him he blew the light and to learn how to drive..."

Not that I can blame you as adrenaline gets pumped up after a close call, but most people don't take kindly to be yelled and cursed at even if they are at fault. So you escalated his driving error up into a road rage situation. Do you think he was even fully aware of the situation he caused for you? Might have blown the light and not even seen you. Did you give him a chance to say anything before you started cussing?

If I had been the cager I would have tried to apologize first before you got out a word. But if you barked first cussing and yelling and/or continued to bark after I apologized then you would have gotten barked right back at. Of course I wouldn't have tried to run you into oncoming traffic but if you did something to my car I would have been blasting off after you for sure after getting your plate number.

I'll freely admit, had that been me, he would DEFINITELY have one less window, a few less teeth, definitely some dents, and some stained drawers....

I do wheel weights - get em free from the tire store and since they fly off people's wheels all the time, it would be virtually impossible to trace it back to me...

His intentions and actions can be reasonably construed to be assault with a deadly weapon and/or attempted vehicular homicide.

Lack of attention is one thing. Overt intentional attempts to harm me will be met with force.

I read an article that explained why it is legal for riders to carry and USE a weapon to defend themselves against such "attempted murder with a deadly weapon"! You could file a report for long term justice. what a !
