If I showed up on a new Ducati, would the mods use their penny-loafers to chase me away?

Hey eltomo,

Check Ton Up Houston on facebook.

http://www.facebook.com/groups/58951487544/

I have several cafe racers, and i did join Ton up for last years Rockers vs. Mods ride. They organize it annually. And there are a couple places where all the cafe racers hang out. One is Shepherd Park Draught House where they gather on thursdays, and Dark Horse Tavern on Washington i think every se ind wednesday. There is shop next to Dark Horse Tavern, Reserve Supply where from time to time they organize a vintage bikers meet up as well.
I am planning to take one of my cafes for a noob ride one of these days, you can join me on that ride if you want.
And there is member here who is one of the organizers of Ton Up or at least he is very close to the head of Ton Up Houston Andrew Wupper.
Good luck man!

Does a "almost vintage" 2003 SV1000-N qualify as a cafe racer?
Sounds like a good time if the bike qualifies..

What qualifies a bike as classic and / or vintage? NOOB QUESTION.

I own a 1995 CB1000. Needs some tlc but was my daily rider in SoCal and here for awhile. But like I mentioned it needs a good cleaning and some minor bodywork and paint to look . I only fire it up and spin around here once a month. Bike still runs like a fire breathing dragon . just cosmetics make it look road worn. Riding back and forth to Cali and Houston every month for some time will do that

[QUOTE=jrock;3332830]What qualifies a bike as classic and / or vintage? NOOB QUESTION.

Just thought it would be cool to check out some sweet vintage rides and shoot the breeze with some like minded individuals.
My question was posed as a joke to see if was acceptable for me to show up and to express my interest in vintage bikes..
