awesome. i guess that'll change though when they go to full mile. i want to do some of these runs, but i've never set my bike up even for 1/4. i need to get a kill switch and some leathers and be ready.

wanna join that 200 club. half mile is a nice way to test the waters.

re parking:

it is about 800 feet from the entrance to the pits. It is provided by the airport Aeros and Auto's and has nothing to do with us.

Schnitz sells a kill switch that wires in easily. It ties into the kick stand switch. No cutting required

Looks like everyone will use the Farley road entrance based on what I just read on the aeros and autos site. CAUTION: Farley road was in bad shape the last time I drove down it. There is/was a concrete plant down that road for years and the road conditions can change quickly. Pot holes and loose sand/gravel should be expected. I will update this thread if the road has been re-paved.

Thanks, I will not take the Lex if the road is busted up.

I will be out there, but have no idea what time, or how long though.
Friend is picking up his GTR from Boost Logic today to make the event.

I was there early, cut out shortly after noon as I had my 6 and 9 year old neighbors with me. . .glad the turnout was good and hope they run the full mile next time. I would have loved to spectate from the starting line though, maybe next year!

Was fun, made a couple passes, sure got hot out there on that tarmac wearing those dead black cows, had the wrong gearing for the half mile, was set up for the quarter, but still managed a couple 160,s
