I think you can use a TRE to up the top end. You should have a -1 or 2 rear sprocket too

cool, i'll keep that in mind also. i need to do something else important in the ecu, that's why i was hoping to go that route. wanna do a hard cut and raise rpm before i do damage hitting the rev limiter again. anyways.. i wanna do this ride this year. i just need to find a deal on some leathers & boots.

I'll be there spectating... I'm working NIGHTs but will come out for a few hours... It's cool they are doing it here. If the event is successful, it's rumored to go 1 mile next year.

You won't need to derestrict a stock Gen 1 Busa for half mile...you won't get close to 186...

But to answer your question you need ECU Editor that you can download free off of suzukihayabusa.org . You will also need the FDT flashing device you can buy from Boostbysmith. Bring a ton of patience as well. You can turn off the speed limiter, set it to hard cut only and pull timing up top as well..

But no need for any of that really for half mile.. Half mile is not long at all.

Joebusa has a flasher but very limited knowledge on it's use. I'm sure he would let you flash with it if you went to him. You would need to bring a lap top with the program DL and knowledge of it's use.

Yes, there are bike requirements. They will email them to you once registered. You do need a kill switch, metal chain gaurd, etc.

I'm going to come out and spectate...thinking of dragging the neighborhood gang with me too. Anyone care to meet up before or during this event? Also, anyone know if spectators use the Farley road entrance as well? Someone start a meet n greet thread...I have too much work to do right now!
