Where's a good place to get a custom midpipe?

I have a stock '06 exhaust that I want to throw onto my bike. I found a good place to mount it up against the swingarm where it actually bolts on. I just need a custom midpipe that I can attach between the headers and slip on. The pipe wouldn't even be a foot long. Oh and i'm in the SW part of houston if anyone knows a local shop. Thanks .

try any regular old muffler shop, should be able to bend it into place, fit it easily, modify your existing mid pipe by cutting flanges off and what not...i'd give them a shot...

stop listing what u sold here - nobody cares...

car exhaust tubing is waaaaaaay thicker than what we use on bikes...

make SURE that the pipe fits as snugly as possible, otherwise you will have leaks (not enough back pressure etc)...

even if you cut slits in the tubing to help with clamping/sealing.... cars use gigantic clamps that will look very ghetto on your ride...

if you do a custom midpipe (like i did) - you will have to find stronger clamps that don't look like car clamps...

this is where i bought stronger clamps: http://vertexnow.com/Welcome-Verocious-Motorsports

i think i have some different sizes left over too... lmk - i'll cut you a deal...

Los - i'm looking for someone to modify my exhaust aswell. Right now on my SV it is a high mount exhaust and it starts going up too close to my right foot rest. I want it to start like 2 inches further away from the Right Foot Rest..

Lemme know what you find, i'm also in the Sugar Land area.

Let' the place Brian suggested.. (Jemco)

It seems to be about a 30 minute drive from our area (W.Airport & Highway 6).

There's just one problem - were you planning on riding? :eh:

Coz i was talking about my track bike and will have to trailer the fugg`in thing there..

Anyhow, we can still go and see if they can do the job.

Coz i gotta get a Jemco Pipe for my YXR100 and a longer mid pipe for the SV..

Lemme know when...(832)275-8925

I'll hit you up. This will most likely have to take place after 2pm on Saturday due to prior engagements. If you have room for 2 bikes in that trailer than we can put mine in there too. If not then you can carry my exhaust while I ride my bike there.

Can we do this sometime next week?

I sold my Z (hitch car) & my mom's car does'nt have a hitch.
Long story short - i have to get a hitch on my mom's car, then go over to my friend's house, pick up my bike (single trailer) by the way and then bring it home, meet up with you and then go over to that place.

Or i can just give them a call tomorrow and see if they can even do it or not.

Thus, i'm leaning on next week - as i too have prior engagements this whole week. Let me know..
