Hey MH,
So I have a 2004 CRF50 and I want to put on a head light. Besides buying a baja designs kit for $500, does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for any help

Rewind the headlight. Put a Walmart fog light on it.

No you should let Chad rewind your stator and wire the headlight for you if you want a quality job for a good price.

Im assuming its a lot cheaper to re-wind it instead of buying a new one, do you just go up to a thicker gauge or what?

I charge $50 to rewind the stator. And $20 for the regulator.

There's only one pole wound on a stock 50 stator and that's for the ignition. So I wind all the empty ones for the lights.

i bet that throws in some labor. parts are relatively cheap but you can only buy it in bulk which is expensive. and rewinding it has to be done correctly to get the proper wattage. let magicman do it, he knows fiddys

Yup yup. It's $50 installed for the stator. But that doesn't include wiring lights up. That would be more.
