Planning to ride the forest Sunday? Think again!

Please be careful out there. There is a big bicycle ride going on with over 1400 riders. They will be taking the typical route we all take up 149 from 105 and all the way to Anderson and back.

I am in training for the MS150 and will be one of the road bicycle a$$ holes out there using up your roads.

Is nothing sacred? RR and the Forest... I hate MS... I wish it would just go away.. then no need for MS 150...

Get out there and ride. Raise a few bucks for the charity. You might actually help it to go away.

Hate bicycles on 149, blind turns and extremely limited shoulders. Hope you guys don't get anyone killed this weekend.

I also cycle, but I do find cyclists on 149 particularly annoying. And anyone riding 2 or 3 abreast on any road with traffic on the road drives me nuts. I hate that it only takes a handful to ruin it for everyone else.

I used to live in Montgomery, they ride all over the roads anywhere from west Montgomery to south Conroe. It's borderline suicidal.

I can't even count the number of times I've seen bikers out there nearly get completely smeared because they are fading all over the place. It's dumb enough to go 20 mph on a 40 - 60 mph road and take up the entire lane for a 1/4 mile around every corner, doesn't make it any better that half of them are fading out to the opposite lane. Go the speed limit or run single file the shoulder.

...or go your own pace and use the lane as a buffer to keep yourself safe.

It's not suicidal for the rider, it's homicidal for the idiot drivers.

Have fun, be safe, and respect other's sports and they will respect yours. You buzzing a cyclist means they may just be the next guy to empty his water bottle or a handful of gravel into a turn.
