go with the 190 and try it out. when i went from a 180 on my gsxr600 to a 190 i personally loved it, and i never went back. it handled better, turned in better, and it looked waaay better. different bikes act different ways, but you'll never know unless you try. hope this helps.

maybe a 190/55, bit a 190/50 is fatter and doesn;t tip over nearly as well as a 180/55

esp on a smaller rim, like the 600SS bikes have

i ran 190/55 on the busa and the T now, vs 190/50

if they go with the same profile, it will naturally tip better. narrower rim + wider tire = better turn in. its intimidating for some, but works fantastically for most, including myself. even if ots the 50 vs the 55, you can never go wrong with more rubber on teh ground.

You can run the 190, but you will have a smaller contact patch that the 180 gives you. It will make the bike feel a little sharper, but that is due to the taller effective height of the rear tire. If you really need the bigger tire, you should get the wider rim to match it.

+ ten in the 016.

P.S. The tire is the only thing keeping you from the hospital, never cheap out on your tires.

seriously. get the 190. see how it feels for you with your bike and your riding style. only you can decide that for yourself. like i said, once i went 190 i never went back. if you go that route and dont like it, at least you'll know and not wonder.

True true... And the 190 won't negatively effect me at the track or on twisties?

it actually felt better to me. the natural "bowing" of the wider tire on a narrower rim felt more natural to me, and you have plenty of rubber. you seem to be new. just feel it out. see how you like it. thats all the advice any of us can offer you.
