I keep pucks on my leathers as knee pads so I can kneel on them in the pits.:laughing6

Draggin knee is overated like some said, The first time I ever did it at Cresson I almost crapped my leathers because I wasnt expecting it to happen. Now I do it sometimes at TWS (Texas World Speedway), It is fun but get your body position right where you are comfortable and it will happen. Just be ready for it the first time cuz it will really freak you out if you have never done it before. Just be ready for it when it happens and then it will be second nature I personally hang off with just one cheek barely on the seat and then tiptoe the peg on the side im leaning on that usually helps me alot when im going into a turn Of course im not the fastest out there either by no meens but Ive turned some good times I think my best was 2;12s- 2;15s So just use your head when out there and it will come to you.

rookies theres some tracks like oakhill where i dont drag a knee then some tracks like msrc where i went though a knee puck because of that wagonwheel draggin knee is mainly used as a reference point on how far you are leaned over or how close you are to BUSTING YOUR you can haul and not drag a knee

Hey Swift, make sure you are opening your hips to the turn. I went almost two seasons without it and then someone showed me the hips were closed. I was beginging to think I just wasn't built for this sport. Now though I hardly ever drag even a race pace unless it's for reference like Romeo said. It slows you down dragin' that nylon puck..friction don't ya know?

I can immediately notice the difference between you and them when it comes to the center of your body vs. the center of the bike. Body needs to move over more.

Ooh, who's got a pic of me to try this with? I don't think I have any leaning left, but I'll look.

More importantly - some bikes weren't made to ride this way, so I need someone (a very trusting someone) to let me do a few laps on a sportbike next time I'm out there!

Same here... I slide all over the place at that corner. My front would push like crazy there.
