MOAB

Has anyone been to MOAB, Utah? A friend of mine were talking about some new places to explore. We've both been to Utah but never over by the MOAB area. I'm hoping to make a trip over there with both the moto and mtb. So? Eh? Any locals ever make it out there?

Several guys I ride with went out there last May. They had a guide. They said it was great. Tons of fun. On the same trip they also hit up Flagstaff, AZ. Between the two they thought Flagstaff was better riding. But both were still great they said.

Man... moab is nice, specially on atv's (which they rent) im in Monty right now, gonna go ride with a few co-workers this afternoon. The route from hwy 191 from price to Duchesne is another dragon or so, and dangerous as with free falls and mountain climb up to 10,000 ft, and then the curvy descend. I wanna bring my bee up here and do it.
Ill post some pictures of moab .. and maybe a video I took early this morning

Been lots of times, made it out to the end of the Jeep Jamboree last year. Great place lots of stuff to do. Certain times of the year it gets a little difficult to make reservations to stay. You'll never get bored!

I have family in Flagstaff. It's such a pretty city (and state--in the right places!). Hmmm.

Not sure about a guide, but hopefully wanderlust and research, we won't get into too much trouble.

Thinking about dong a lot of exploring! MOAB has always been on the list. ADVrider also is my main source as well. Fantastic ride reports. (of course, you know this).

You ever venture to Flagstaff area as the previous post suggested?

Arizona's my favorite off-the-beaten-path motosplorin' place. I loved heading up into the mountains and visiting the mining towns.

it's taken me a while to get home, I have not been free enough to load videos of it, nor pictures, but here is my drive through it.. if you pay attention, and slow down on it, you can see from bycicle rentals to jeep rentals everything in between, lots of hotels, places to eat, and landscape to capture.. I have more videos, but lacking time, just wanted to keep up to my word and post somehint up...enjoy

I spent a week there in 1993. Great town, fun river rafting, great mtbiking. I've seen a lot of posts about the white rim trial by jeep or dirt bike. Try ADV rider.com and I'm sure you'll find all you need and more to plan a lifetime out there.
