Dcar, how long have you been riding THAT bike? They guys were tellin you saddle time for a f#ckin reason man, so you can get used to the way your power band acts. You'll get a good feel for this by rollin up to 5000-6000 rpms (little throttle) then snap that open for a sec, until that front comes up, then roll back some on the throttle as the front gets higher. Thats a straight up power wheelie. If you're a throttle jockey, this can be dangerous in 1st gear. practice being smooth smooth smooth. If its not comin up or bouncin up and down...dont fight it...put it down, try again. This is the basic step to wheelies man. I tell you this not from a professional stand point but from how I learned. If I were you I would forget the clutch idea for now, until you can ride out 1st. If you cant do that, you have NO business clutchin it into a wheelie!

wut kind of stunts u wanna do?...if u jsut wanna wheelie the streets i can teach u that but if u wanna do parkin lot get a fiddy b4 u do anything on ur bigbike in a parkin lot trust me crashing and breakin a good bike SUX!

i agree with them if your gonna learn slow stuff do it on a mini. i can go from 1st through 4th on my sv doing a wheelie but im learning slow stuff on my mini
id rather buy a 20 dollar rear fender than paying for forks, wheels paint job ect.
