Trolls aren't interested in facts.
If you wrecked during the day, of course your led's would have no effect over the outcome.
Sorry to hear your bike got smashed, there's a ton of inattentive drivers out there and sadly bikes suffer way more damage than just any other car would.

Hope you're able to get your bike fixed up....

What LEDs re a safety item is a a fact ,lol

If a driver doesn't see a whie headlight, they sure as aren't going to see some faint blue/red LEDs emitting from the sides of your bike and ground

It's purely cosmetic and poseur to be seen in that sense

It's tacky that you get a hard on every time a bike wrecks you come in, point your finger and make some up pompous bullshit condescending comments.

Of course, every time someone notices and mentions this, you give your smirk and give some even more smug response.

Not sure why you gotta keep trolling, sure safety is important, but no ones really gonna listen to you if you keep in their faces while trying to ” help them out”. Seriously, even you cannot deny that more lighting can't hurt. Even if it doesn't help, everyone's got a right to choose what they do to their own bike. Be it cosmetic, mechanical, performance or just bullshit poser points. OP already stated that the accident happened during the day when led's weren't even on and you gotta keep harping on it.

Quit being such a pompous douchebag, it's getting old.

Im looking at about $800-900 to get her back up and going, the thing is I want to see how the motor runs. I turned the key in the ignition and everything turns on as it should. I need to get a radiator so I can push the starter on and see if starts. Ill be paying for all of the damages, no one on the road stopped for me. It was only until someone leaving the neighborhood that I got helped.

If I could find that gentlemen I would give him $100 bucks and and thank him just for the few minutes that he was there

I called you pompous, arrogant, condescending, smug and a douchebag.
But I did not call you a douhe.

It's the internet, it's not meant to hurt your feelings.
But there's got to be a better way of getting your point across.

Wow, much divided opinions in here regarding leds...lets simma down people, simma down now. .

Its all preference, There is such a thing as too much leds and = posers...but the work (based off pics) look subtle and not poserish by long stretch and yes Im going to put them on my bike, not for safety or cool points...simply, cuz i like them. My 2 cents...

If a car cuts u of y not hit him instead of the curb? U hit curb no money, u hit him u come out w a newer bike.

A curb is much smaller than a car dude, not only that but there is always the hope that you can swerve and recover before smacking the curb. Regardless of the fact that in most cases if someone cuts you off and you hit them it's considered failure to control your vehicle so, curb and rashed up bike or, car and totalled bike with you in the hospital?

OP, glad to hear you are okay and are fixing the bike up. I like the look and have always loved LED's, I could be interested in a much more subtle application (like really only a few here and there for small effect), what kinda price range are you talking about for the install?
