Gsxr headlight Need some help

I wanted to see if any one knows anything about gsxr headlights. I need a new one for my bike cause the tabs are broke off. And I found sone on eBay but they say that there not dot approved. Do they have to be DIY approved?
Also where else can I buy a headlight without killing my wallet?

Thanks

All the tabs are broken off? If you want to be cheap, you can epoxy or bolt up a tab bracket. If not just deal with it. I know on my old bike a the top two tabs broke but It was still secure. The non DOT approved headlights are china made and basically have not been DOT tested hence why it is said not dot approved. It's just a copy of the OE. you'll be fine.

Do you have the old tabs?
If so I can plastic weld them back on for you.

No I don't have the old ones. Which sucks cause I was going to do the same.
Hey but on another subject, how much would y'all charge me to put my fairings on my 05 gsxr 600. I also have blue LEDs on the bike and I want them to be red. How much something like that cost?

You really would be doing yourself a big favor if you put the fairings on yourself. near any thing you do in the future maintenance wise requires you to remove at least one side. Its about the easiest part of working on the bike yourself. Once you do it one you will understand how silly it is to pay to have it done.

You would spend more time taking it in and picking it up. Its a simple job. Find someone close to you to help you with it the first time.

I would just look on ebay or similar for the headlight. There are also local salvage shops. Hard to beat the parts that come to you though.

On another note. I have my old fairings off the bike would anyone be interested in them. I would say they are repairable. Especially after what I've seen on eBay. They are oem
