I'd do it asap, but I don't wanna drop a brand new bike just yet. =P
Looking for a bike I can out. So hopefully soon.

I was semi ok with the pace. Just maybe 5-10mph more than What I was used to in the cruiser. But when you were showing me the lines and when to start the turn, where to look etc, felt a lot smoother.

I thought I caught the Wheelie, but the GoPro makes it seem so far away.

***I'm sorry for holding up people on the second group***
I was at CVS buying a memory card for the GP. =P.. I was the last one putting in gas while everyone looked at me well... funny.

I can't wait for you to come out and do a track day with us.. please let me know when you're ready and I'll make sure you have a blast out there!
What he said. You have nothing to prove to any of us. Ride your ride.. we won't leave you behind. There is typically a sweeper in charge of making sure the group is all accounted for and the leader will wait on you. No need to push yourself past your limit... we want everyone to ride home on their bike at the end of the day!

Motorcycles are like women... once you ride one... you wanna ride em all.

Absolutely, and this applies regardless of experience or time riding, I have been riding for over 20 years and I still take it slow and ride in the back....the street is not the place to test your abilities or impress anyone, and it hurts or kills if you forget that...

Want to go fast and live the thrill, the racetrack is the place...plenty of people here can guide you that way if that interests you....

I must say I was very impressed by how well everybody rode in the second group. Kudos to Floyd for leading and keeping the group together. The best part of the ride for me was actually riding shotgun on I-10 on the way home, behind Floyd.

Reminds me of back in the days, me and my buddies used to ride real tight together in NYC, up and down the avenues wee hours in the morning. The lights were sequentially-synched such that it was pointless to go fast. Ride the speed limit and you could go thru 10-15 lights in one stretch. I can still hear the rumble of our group echoing off the building walls on either sides of the empty streets.
