What will let us know who to contact incase you go down and you can't do it yourself...

Some people even have a card that has medical information...

You never know, when it counts it definitely helps.

I can think of one situation where it would have come in hand...

ICE should be the 1st person/contact on your cell phone.. Someone that we can get on the phone ASAP.. Everyone should have one.. Never know when they may come handy.

Yup...

Even if I have a lock on my phone, I unlock it before a ride to people won't have a hard time getting in. It's a favorite on my contacts and it's also the very first one.. to do that I just added * to the name.

Phones can and will be broken in accidents. It is always important to have it in form of writing on your person. Learned this from experience. It is a great idea to put it in your phone and a couple other places!

1st contact? What happens to phone numbers for names A-H? I think all EMT's are trained to check cell phone contact list under ICE name.

I also suggest having more than one ICE. I have three ICE's in my phone in case first person doesn't/can't answer.

like said before.. Putting a (*) in front of the name will work or.. Just ad the #1 in front of the name and puts them right at the top..
So (1 mike) will go right on to and before (Alex) < just an idea..

I put 1 ICE ***
2 ICE ***
3 ICE ***

One contact isnt enough for me, especially since my wife and I are together a lot. She is #1, so I put more than one.

I also have my dog tags on with a red ICE card anytime I ride. The bonus on this is that it also has my blood type. This is in addition to the card in my wallet and my contacts in my cellphone. I haven't gone as far as tattooing my blood type on my arms next to the elbow vein, but I have considered it.

This^ I usually ride with a Camelbak, and keep an O POS blood type tape on it. There's a set of red tags inside it as well with religion/blood type and "NO PEN" on them. Good info to keep hand for the 1st responders.

I wear one of these roadid braclets almost all the time.

http://www.roadid.com

You can have a primary contact listed on the tag, and keep additional contacts, insurance information, allergies, etc on an online database, that can be accessed with PIN and serial numbers on the back of the tag.
