Ran out of gas

Apparently 162 miles is all I can get out of the ZX-6. Died and rolled into a gas station. I got lucky. Seems like a really short range no?

Sounds about right. I averaged around 35-40 on my r6.

About 70 of it was highway. Gas light comes on usually at like 120 and I take it to 140. I guess now I'll take it to 150 and know that I'm safe.

Idk how many miles I got, but I do know when fuel light came on at i10 in Katy, ran 34.2 miles at mph of 80-120 most of the way when it ran out on 45 just before beltway. Had to have my gf come bring me gas. Lol.

...seems to be about on par. I get 35-42 depending on how I ride and what kind of riding im doing (running errangs, vs commuting downtown) seems most bikes SB's are running in the 4g tank range.

I can do 140 miles on 3.7 gallons before I'm on reserve on the 1000RR. The HD will take me 160 miles before reserve.

I usually get to 130 miles before it starts to sputter and I switch to reserve. After that I have about 40 miles to find fuel. I do get 50 mpg on average though.
