Where can I buy the following:

I am going to go to my first track day soon and I still need to pick up a few things and get a couple things ironed out.

1) 5 gal Gas Can - I noticed a style that most people use that looks like a jug with a handle rather than the typical cans you see for lawnmowers

2) Handlebar cinch for hauling my bike.

So where is the best place with the best prices to get those two items?

Also does anybody know if my bike will pass tech without a chain guard? I would imagine not...

Any of our sponsors have any good deals on some Gauntlet Gloves? I am in the market and shopping to buy in the next 2 weeks.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Yeah i figured I would have to just get one from Wally world but never seen any like the ones I saw at this past track day.. they seemed more appropriate for use with bikes so I figured I would ask.

The ones from wally world work just as good in the pits.

The other you may have seen are great for people actually racing.

most of the bike shops will have the type of gas can you are talking about...
CG has them too but they were a little higher on it than the other places...
I put the valve in line, some come with them, some do not...

I've never needed to fill the tank. I've always heard that's only really necessary for 2 TD weekends.

the gas cans from Walmart with the safety spout suck a donkey's left nut....spend a few extra bucks and get a jug with a valve....it will save you 7 minutes of holding a full 5 gallons of gas tank upside down with every fill up at the track.

The gas can with the newer lever type spout are the . They spill way less. I like them better than my jug type. I have a white jub that I like because I can see the level in it. Thats handy when mixing fuels.

I never want more than 1 gallon in mine at the track. I top it off a few times sometimes.

You are really doing it wrong.

OP, if you come pick it up, I have a gas can you can have for free. I also have a VP gas can, a cycle cynch and ropes that I could sell you for cheap. I am in the Medical Center. PM me if interested.

Get a Canyon Dancer from a motorcycle shop.
Get 2 ratchet straps from Harbor Freight.

Any gascan will work as long as it doesn't leak all over your paint.
