Well said.

In drivers ed u learn to give bikers a lane and a half of space or soemthing like that. They teach u to give extra room and seconds between u and the bike. Basically be cautious around bikes.
If a car accidently bumps into a motorist in front of them, that's negligence. You are facing forward, eyes forward, anything that happens in front of u is most likely negligence.

Not entirely accurate, and not relevant to my earlier comment.

Now it's relevant.

In a two vehicle collision, if a driver is rear ended and if that rear ended driver has not struck another object, who is liable for damages to the rear ended driver?

Start a new thread for that discussion, dont feel like derailing this one
dealing with your particular malfunction.

People who kill others via negligence deserve to die in the accident as well.

Sorry to hear that I hope he recovers fully! Keep him positive and stay there for support!

to think they let the cager go. I thought they changed the laws on phones and driving especially if there is sever injury caused. Cant drive through a school zone on the phone but you can nearly kill someone and its acceptable??

We need to organize a ride to the local police station and protest that bullshit, I will be in town mid March and would be more then happy to head that way.

They say if he can live off of life support then they will start a 60+hrs of surgery in 8hr intervals. If all that goes well then he has a shot at living a normal life. They say his spine isn't as bad as they thought but his internal organs are beat up bad. He has been on a feeding tube and a breathing machine since he arrived to the ICU. This will all be removed tomorrow.
