This followed me home

1997KTM250exc

its a 97 KTM 250 EXc 2 Stroke the engne was recently went through by malcolm smith racing in southern cali. the suspension has been upgraded and valved for heaver rider like me. has brembo brakes and ohlin suspension over sized gas tank..
it has texas tags and inspection along with a cali inspection. the owner took great care of it had all work done by malcolm smith racing. he has all records and manuals.
I know its an older bike but with the upgrades and all the work that has been done to the bike it was the best shape of all the ones i looked at and the price was in the right range

Nice looking bike, good find especially being plated already.

Lots of good KTM info found here:
http://ktmtalk.com/index.php?showforum=6

You can download free engine and chassis manuals also. Click on "Shop Online" at the top and takes you to Munn Racing.com
Scroll down left column to the bottom and select your year and model for complete pdf manuals. They have parts fiches online also.

might hit you up once i get the feel of the bike. I still want to look over it and change oil, plug, air filter and such. even though it wasnt serviced that long ago it just something i like to do. dont plan on using on the street much. was kind of wanting to do a big bend trip and bikes have to be street legal.

sweet. It can never hurt to KNOW that proper maintenance was performed rather than just being told that it was.

Keep up with the fluids and air filter, and it will be a happy bike.
