well as soon as i sell my extra jacket and helmet ill let one of you know so i can get it done. and what chain and sprockets should i get, im obviously a noob at that

if you want it to last, just get the Oem sizing with steel sprockets....

If it's that old and badly streched you better change the rubber in the rear hub too.

i know time is hard, funds are always low, but try to replace them as soon as possible..

since you said you would need to take few links out of old chain, i assume that you are running out of adjustment on your swing arm too, there is high possibility the chain would come off the rear sprocket while you ride......so be careful

gosh boy, chain lube is not a bad thing..... that shiney part between the links is suppose to have rubber o ring, not polished metal. i heard of getting your moneys worth but dag nab it

thats how i got it. I use chain lube every 2-3 weeks since i use it all the time

evry one is right about ur chain and sprocket. I let my chain get too worn and rode the bike in from California and only made it to Comfort, Tx.. My chain didnt break but it started skipping over the teeth of the sprocket and the teeth bent to ...
Had to tow it in to Houston and I got Patrick @ Motorcycles Unlimited to hook me up with chain and sprockets ..
I still have the chain tools if you need help when your able to do the repair
